While we are busy deciding where to go for New Years’ Eve, EMC is busy updating its certification program. The company is updating several of its EMC Proven Professional certifications.
EMC will launch three new certification exams on January 9, 2015: E2O-597, E20-377 and E20-375. Two of these exams are specifically for EMC2’s RecoverPoint, which is a data protection program. The third exam is tied to EMC2’s NetWorker, a different data security suite. EMC certified professionals need to be updated on the latest data technologies, storage, and networking solutions. All exams were designed to ensure that they are up-to-date. Let’s take a closer glance at the exams.
E2O-597 Exam: NetWorker Specialist Examination for Storage Administrators
This exam qualifies you for the Storage Administrators-Networker Specialist track.
This exam tests candidates’ understanding of concepts and terminology as well as their ability to administer solutions using EMC NetWorker. You will need to demonstrate your ability to configure, monitor, and maintain EMC NetWorker backup systems. The EMC E2O-597 Exam will have 60 questions and last for 90 minutes.
E20-377 RecoverPoint/SE Specialist Examination for Implementation Engineers
The EMC E20-377 exam qualifies you for the EMC Implementation engineer RecoverPoint/SE Specialist track. It covers the deployment of RecoverPoint/SE system, including configuration, troubleshooting, and management of virtual and physical RecoverPoint Appliances.
The EMC E20-377 exam contains 60 questions and takes a maximum of 90 minutes to complete. It focuses on the deployment of RecoverPoint/SE system, including configuration, troubleshooting, and management of virtual and physical RecoverPoint Appliances. RecoverPoint/SE architecture and theory of operations, splitting technologies, site planning and configuration requirements, configuration and operations consistency groups, as well as integration with other virtualization software are some of the topics covered.
E20-375 RecoverPoint Specialist Examination for Implementation Engineers
EMC exam E20-375 tests your skills in deploying RecoverPoint systems. This includes configuration, troubleshooting, and management of virtual and physical RecoverPoint Appliances. It contains 60 questions that candidates must complete in 90 minutes, just like the other two exams.
The E20-375 is a qualifying exam for EMC Implementation Engineer RecoverPoint Specialist track. It focuses on RecoverPoint system deployment, including configuration, troubleshooting, and management of virtual and physical RecoverPoint Appliances.
It also covers RecoverPoint theory and operations and write splitting technologies; site plan and configuration requirements; configuration, operations and consistency groups, as well as configuration for integration and other virtualization software.
