You should act quickly if you wish to become an EMC certified specialist through the E20-370 or E20-670 exams. These two certification exams will be retired on January 3, 2018.
The retiring exams have 60 questions each and last for 90 minutes. Let’s take a closer look at each exam:
= Content Addressed Storage (CAS) Specialist Exam for Implementation Engineers
This exam examines the CAS family products as well as the implementation tasks required to integrate Centera into heterogeneous open system environments. The exam topics include Centera Architecture, Tools and Universal Access, CAS concepts, and Centera Operations like API, Naming Schemes and Profiles, Compliance Management, Replication and Restore.
The E20-370 exam is part of the Implementation Engineer Content Addresses Storage (CAS), Specialist (EMCIE), certification. It is necessary to obtain one of these Associate level certifications in order to complete the requirements for this certification:
Information Storage Associate (EMCISA).
Information Storage Associate Version 2 (EMCISA)
Information Storage Associate Version 3 (EMCISA)
= Centera Specialist Examination for Platform Engineers
This exam examines concepts related to content addressed storage and the EMC Centera product range. The test measures the candidate’s ability in CAS environments to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot. It requires that future specialists can understand the architecture and theory behind operations and be able to manage and administer native tools and EMC software.
The exam topics are Centera Fundamentals (CUA), Centera Installation & Maintenance (CUA), and Centera Universal Access.
The E20-670 exam can be used in conjunction with the Platform Engineer, EMC Centera Specialist certification (EMCPE). It is necessary to obtain one of these Associate level certifications in order to complete the requirements for this certification:
Information Storage Associate (EMCISA).
Information Storage Associate Version 2 (EMCISA)
Information Storage Associate Version 3 (EMCISA)
