Before you start a task, planning is the most important step. This includes setting up your goal, breaking it down into milestones, and estimating the time and effort needed to reach these milestones.
Check out the requirements
Now that you have a clear understanding of the importance of PMI-ACP certification for your career, it’s time to learn about the requirements. Search for “PMI ACP requirements” on PMI.org. The exam requires three things.
You must have at least 2,000 hours of experience in project management with teams or if you are a PMP!AE/PgMP!AE.
1,500 hours spent working in agile teams or using agile methodologies.
21 hours of training in agile practices.
Review the requirements and your experience. The first two requirements will be covered by your job experience. To meet the third requirement, however, you will need 21 hours of training in agile practices.
Talk to other PMI-ACPs
To learn more about the experiences of colleagues and friends who have earned PMI-ACP project management certification online, it is a good idea to speak with them. These people can offer valuable tips and tricks to help you prepare for the exam. Ask them about the difficulties they faced while trying to become certified.
